Description-

Basic Plus stands for the complete integration of a FISCON Bluetooth handsfree into the infotainment system. The design of the interface matches exactly to the design of the other functions and will even support touchscreen systems where available. The operation and display of the cellphone is fully integrated and seamless on the navigation system and/or the FIS-display of the tacho.

With a FISCON Pro Bluetooth handsfree, the RNS-E navigation system allows for these functions:

Vehicle Integration

Full integration into the navigation system with MMI logic.

Displays Data on the FIS-Screen.

Menu-driven operation.

Establish, accept and end calls. Mute, regulate volume and numerous setup functions. Everything is operable with the existing buttons in the vehicle.

Voice output through the vehicle speakers. With distinguished sound quality, no installation of additional speakers is necessary.

Operation via the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel (where available).

Usage of the ring-tone of the cellphone*1 on the vehicle speakers.

Display texts available in the languages English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Durch, Portuguese. A lot of other languages are partially supported.

All original functions of the vehicle remain unaffected.

Information on FIS (Instrument Cluster)

A2DP audiostream via Bluetooth, for playing music stored in the cellphone on the vehicle sound system.*1

The integration into the navigation system is independent from the vehicle and is also feasible in vehicles where the navigation system is not integrated from factory. The display in the FIS screen and the operation with the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel are at present working in all VW's regardless of the radio or navigation system
